The S63 engine is well repaired. Judging by the description, the connecting rod bearing was rotated. Unfortunately, this is a common problem with these engines if you change the oil less than once every 5,000 miles.
The engine must be removed, disassembled and completely washed. You need a complete set of gaskets, a new crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, rod bearings, oil cooler, and a few connecting rods. I do this kind of work in 4-5 days. |

I was thinking the same thing. LS3 or even a LS1. Buy a junked Camaro or TA and pull it, and rebuild it. And swipe the computer and all that, or go aftermarket if there is a reliable one.
I wonder how much of the cabin electronics needs to see the BMW 4.4 engine? It would take time to do the splice. with detailed manuals. Helm does not cover BMW for some reason. I do not know who does. |

I shipped my engine on 3/19 it got to Grand Rapids at 3/24 now its 4/6 and troy never picked up my engine. he told me he did until I found out he really didn't. I got a call from the shipping company they said that I am now being charged storage. Troy kept telling me day after day he would pick it up and that its no big deal but we agreed on a deadline of 4/15 to get my engine done and I can already tell that this is not going to work out. I can read people and it seems that he's not the type of person I want to do business with. I'm heavily contemplating on shipping my engine elsewhere or back home and having Project M finish my engine like I should have because they actually know how to conduct a business. |
