Hesitation, power loss no error code

Hi All

My n63 motor is experiencing slight hesitation on acceleration and have noticed a huge loss of power . Idle is fine.

I've scanned the car with obd and the torque app and see no error codes .

Any thoughts would be great??

Could be a boost leak. Do you have something that you can use to measure boost?

Thanks I've felt it could be that too, I have obd and torque app. But from what I read it can only read one sensor which measure only up to 3psi.

Torque app doesn't read BMW specific codes. iCarly works but it is expensive.

I've had similar symptoms for awhile now... Brought it in to have it looked at 3 separate times at 2 different shops.
Originally was a vacuum leak with no fault codes... Fixed that. Then symptoms seemed to come back after a week or two. Brought it back into the Indy shop and they scratched their heads saying nothing was wrong. Wasn't satisfied with that answer so I brought it to the dealer to hopefully get a different opinion or answer.... Nothing from them either. About a week after car goes into limp (low power mode) and throws a code for water pump short circuit. After cycling the car in/off its back to "normal" power...Call the dealer and all they say is water pump is toast and to bring it in to have it replaced for $1500 (lol) (with no actual diag other than my own). So here I am in your boat...
So I'd recommend vacuum and pressure testing it to start then go from there...

Edit: vacuum leak would probably give a poor idle though.
