N55 SparkPlug Srv, letting dealer do it.
Truck was going in for service and decided to let them do it because I couldn't find DIY on spark plugs for the N55.
Saw 1 post listing that the rear plugs are EFFF'ing impossible to get out so said fuc it, I rather pay and forget. Wanted to share the price for spark plug service in case someone was curious. Complete job costs $394. Take care.

I'm @ 64k and wanted to do it but after reading it was nearly impossible for the rear plugs to come out. I Went to service and my SA showed me on his iPad bmw calls for plug change anyway at this mileage so I said fuk it.

I did mine at 51k. I DIY'd the first four, but couldn't get the rear two, so I gave it to my Indy, who completed it for another $80. Well worth it.

Replaced mine at 103k (2012 n55) and they still looked good. But it was time.
Also had the intakes carbon blasted as well even at 100k they weren't that bad really could have gone to 150k before getting it done. The plugs fortunately where replaced free of charge as I was getting the valve cover gasket replaced lol. Just had to pay for the plugs, though at almost 400 bucks the 500 I paid to replaced the valve cover gasket now seems like a bargain! |
