2012 Bluetooth issues
Hi all-
I just had my car in the shop for some issues that were resolved. I had all of them resolved except for one which they said was an issue between Apple and BMW, something they had no control over. I have a 2012 X5 with enhanced Bluetooth and a iPhone X (I have tested an iPhone 5,6, and 8) For some reason every time I play music it skips terribly. I included a link below to show what is happening. I was thinking it's possibly a Combox issue, but am not sure and looking for advice. Thank you!

You can download a bluetooth update and install yourself. Use a usb stick. Download software and insert into USB in car. Go to Software update in idrive and install.

I'm not even sure how to figure out if I've got all the required option codes to make my streaming bluetooth audio work. I have no idea why this is so confusing. I just bought a 2012 E70 and my previous E70 (2011 X5M) worked just fine. I don't even see the option to check "audio" like most of the guides say to do. The phone paired fine, but I can't find a single option that relates to bluetooth audio. :-\
