///M means more gas. My //M3 sees 11-13mpg city, maybe if I am gentle 17-20 highway. The wife's X5 50 sees 11-12 city. Road trips where we average 75-85 we see 16-18. Then again, to keep these motors clean an happy, I always try to run them high RPM like the motors were designed to do a few times a month so that doesn't help.

I have a 2010 X6M with new injectors. 97,000 miles on it driving all through the midwest.

18 MPG overall and I am NOT gentle on it. Highway mileage is 20.2.

Feeling lucky. Wow.

Amazing vehicle... am going to put 200,000 miles on it.

That's amazing but I didn't get 18 out of my 335i. Must be the shitty Maryland gas.

My long term Milage is around 16mpg with a mix of city and a bit of hi way.

I pin it at 79 MPH here on Michigan roads to get that mileage, but virtually every day I (allegedly) just might take it over 100+ MPH.

Someone took a pic of my speedometer at 152 MPH. That was just way too easy to reach.

Oh yea, it has a trailer hitch on it too...

Cruising speed only has a little bit to do with mpg.
80mph in 6th is barely 2700-2900 rpm.

It's how you get to that speed, how you handle passing or slowing down and returning to previous speed, what gear you drive in regularly, etc.

The more often your rpm gauge goes (and stays) in the upper ranges, the less mpg you will have.

Mine had a Ess Tune on it. and no RFT

But 9-12 was the average. I never seen it in the 8MPG range and never seen 13MPG

If you are getting 16-17+, You must be driving miss daisy
