Front PDC Activate Automatically?

Do the front PDC sensors activate automatically when pulling in with something in front of the vehicle on an E70 X5M? I thought mine used to, but noticed the last few days that I have to manually turn them on when pulling into my garage or they won't activate.

Nope they don't activate automatically, usually only activates when you put the truck in reverse.

I've only had the vehicle a few months, but I could have sworn it came on automatically. Haha. I must be going crazy.

I thought so as well. I almost hit a truck pulling forward in a parking lot when I first got this beast.

Just throw it in reverse for a second, then back to drive, or activate the sensors manually by pushing the PDC button.
