BMW Ipod interface kit for E70

Hi,
When I bought my X5 it had the ipod interface kit installed (the OEM one), of course now the CD changer is dead, but who needs it anyway!

I dont have an Ipod, and was never a fan of Apple products, anybody tried to connect a usb flash memory to this kit before? can it be accesible from i drive?

any idea for the correct cable / adapter to do it?

U can just hook a USB drive up to the USB in the glove or arm rest

My x5 comes with only aux connection. No usb socket
