E70 X5M: Coolant Low Warning but reservoir is full?

The "Coolant Low" warning light keeps coming on, but I checked the reservoir level and it's still full.

I know it's possible that the level sensor could be bad, but before I just replace it I thought I'd better ask advice here just in case there's something else I should check.

With all the intercoolers and complex cooling systems, I'd hate to miss something important and end up damaging this thing.

Do you have the 2nd coolant tank for the intercoolers?
