Multiple systems failure

My wife's BMW will not start and is showing a series of failures.
First she got 'Dynamic Brake control error', car still ran and she drove home.
After she turned car off she heard a 'clicking' from engine bay (relay of some sort?)
Tried to start it an hour later and she got a series of malfunction notices including: 'Braking/chassis stability' and 'transmission' malfunction.
I was thinking battery issue so told her to attach battery pack and car started fine.
She drove 2-3 miles and the wipers turned on randomly, nav and dash went dark.
She drove home and wasn't able to put it into park. After sitting in driveway for 5 minutes eventually it did 'park'.

Car now shows:
'Braking/chassis stabilization malfunction'
'Transmission malfunction'
'Parking brake malfunction'
'Fuel pump'

I picked up new battery and installed and nothing changed.

Obviously not every system went bad at once so I'm thinking there's a short somewhere causing problems.

I'm thinking there's a single system or a short causing the issue. Think I may start unplugging modules. I disconnected ABS but no change.

Any thoughts? I'm going to have to get it towed to the dealer but they don't even have a slot for over a week. Car is completely bricked.

Could it be a ground cable since ground is common to all modules?
