angel eyes, get your car coded !

if anyone is running aftermarket led's i'd highly recommend you get it coded to make it brighter. I coded mine and another x5m today its pretty significant.

tried to take pics but its close to impossible to take real life shots of the leds even at dusk

What product are you running for angel eyes?

Did you use the PWM_FL_FKT_DRL_3R in FRM and change to wert_02, or did you change a different setting (or even different module) ?

Have you updated your modules to v46 yet?

noticed you had a E38, i had a 01 E38 li sport (what a problem child) .

I just changed this

PWM_SL_1_FKT_SL_TFL_DIMM
wert_01 (was wert 05)

much easier on the E70

I tried the V shaped ones on Ebay & and the single tube one w/ 2 leds.

The V shaped ones are deff brighter but when i coded the non V units it had better light coverage, then coded the V shaped ones which looked the best.

The only way I know to increase light output on an LED, is to increase the voltage. So, I would guess this coding does just that, somehow.

LUX Angel eyes already mention that they always run at full brightness. The need for coding is if you get just a bulb replacement to some LED model. The vehicle typically runs the angel eyes at half brightness when the lights are on iirc. With LUX they took care of this from the start with no coding required.

I love my LUX, and the customer service is top notch.

+1. Coding would make no difference for our lights since they always run at full power.
