I got the Stage 1 multi-map as the included BM3 map, and got to wondering how I could make a custom multi-map.

Ideally, I would like a map that is arranged as follows;
1. Stock 435i map
2. Stage 1 91 Octane
3. Stage 2 91 Octane
4. Valet mode

I'm tech savvy, a network engineer, and no stranger to command line programming., so I'd love to try this myself. However, I don't know what programs are used when creating these maps, so it may already be out of my scope.

Aside from that, my car used to cold-start and hover the RPM's around 1400 for about 10 seconds, then slow down.
I've set cold start and cat pre-heat as OEM on the multi-map, but it still doesn't seem to be doing that. GTS startup roar never seemed to have worked either.

I have not seen a single person change the maps in a multimap. BM3 themselves say only a tuner can do so. So IDK. I'm here every day though and I have yet to see a single person do this

Any one can become a tuner on the app and make their own custom multi map. The issue is you would need to make each tune yourself. BM3 doesn't give you access to customize their tunes.

Ok, yeah, that's the limitation then.
I'm not about to try to recreate their maps.
I guess I'll just switch from S1 to S2 on my phone.

The GTS startup roar happens when the car is already warm in my experience. On first start there is no “roar” but if the car is warmed up it definitely does it.

You'd need to literally make your own multimap from scratch. You cant pick and choose as that's not how it works.

I recently gained access to the bootmod3 software. I am a remote tuner that tunes Hondas and GMs. I recently became interested in the BMW platform. I can help create the map mentioned. It will help me better understand the software and BMW platform.
