Best Tune is Velos Stage 2(+)or Dinan for 2013 X5 50I?

Hi fellas,

I havent posted for a while. I was going to trade in my 2013 X5 50I for a newer X5, but decided to keep it and fix it up a little. My daughter turns 16 next month, so I decided to use that money to buy her a car. I have 60K miles on it. I want to add a tune that runs that is installed and easiest to use. Also, maybe add a new 10.25 Avin screen. Price doesn't matter. Would you agree that a Velos or Dinan is one of the best tunes?

I have dinan stage 2 on my ‘12 50i and love it. I think it will cost you about $900 installed.

I had the Dinan tune on my 2012 50i - definitely noticeable. That tune is currently 10% off through through 12/31 - $629.96 + labor for dealer install. I couldn't compare it to Velos, no experience with them.

Per the Dinan website, Stage 3 is designed to be paired with the Dinan free flow exhaust. Nevermind they haven't sold an exhaust for this model is 5 years or so

I had Stage 2, which has been their entry level software for several years now, ever since they discontinued Stage 1.

I have an appointment set for Friday. Thanks for all the opinions. Your cars have been running smoothly? I had a JB tune on my old 08 335XI and I would have issues every other week with loss of power and codes. I am looking to add an Avin or 10.25 screen too. Trying to give her a little face lift without breaking the bank. Has anyone done anything to their X5 50I that you've seen that was a nice improvement?

I never had any issues while I owned it (I've since sold it for an F15 50i).
