Shocks for lowered X5
I have H&R sport spring set without self leveling on my x5 and looking for the best shock to go with it.
I was using the stock shock but it's time to change. Not looking for a shock that extra stiff but something suited for my 1.5" drop. |

You can try Bilstein, but not all models are sold in the US. So you'll have to order from the UK or similar and ship.
Over there, they have front and rear shocks, both performance and stock. They also have a matching kit that includes lowering springs and performance shocks. price is about $1200 US, which is way lower than KW v3's. Why I can't get a v2 or even v1 sucks... Off hand has anyone heard of or seen reviews on the Bilstein b12 kit? It lowers the car 40mm/1.5", and includes matching sport shocks from bilstein, equivalent to b8 gas charged shocks.

No, the b12 kit is shocks and lowering springs as a complete/matching set.
You can buy either the HD or Sport(preferred) series shocks from Bilstein which should work with your lowering springs |
