LED Halo Upgrade
Hi all,
Was wondering what is your recommendation on swapping out the stock H8 bulb for LED bulb? I have heard good things about LUX but am also considering XenonDepot's LED headlights (http://www.xenondepot.com/H8-LED-hea.../h8-led-hl.htm). Just wondering if anyone has ever used XenonDepot's LED bulbs or have any other recommendations? Thanks! |

i've bought 3 sets of led's for my 09 x6 (2x from ebay and a set of the lux brand). the 1st set i purchased was from ebay only 20w so it wasn't as bright as i wanted and then i bought a set of 40w also from ebay and they were bright but i thought i could get brighter so i bought a set of the lux brand and they turned out to be the same as the 40w from ebay. i would suggest lux since they are known brand but if you want to save a few bucks and get the same results I still have my set of 40w from ebay that are the same as my lux.

LED's
I have a 2011 X6M and it came with yellow halos, i just bought the Crees 80w and installed them last memorial weekend. I must say they look alot better than the yellow but not as great as i would have like them to look. the inner ring looks great but the outer ring is a bit weak. nevertheless, for $100 you can't get better. also, there was not any error messages. they were kind of tough to install, it took about 30 min per side, the circle caps are small and getting in them is difficult.

Hi Guys, I need some help. I'm a newbie (can't seem to starts a new thread for some reason).
I have a 2014 X6 that has the ugly yellow-looking rings in the headlights. I really love the blueish xenon looking angel eyes that are basically in all of the newer BMWs. I think that's what this thread is about. I was wondering if there is a simple fix to get the rings to be that color and that brightness? Is it simply replacing a bulb? I hate how the halogen rings make the car look old. Thank you |

Thank you I emailed the Lux company and they told menu car already has the white LEDs?
I think they are mistaken. I know the 2015 X6 has the newer style. I have a leased 2014 3.5 model. There are two rings it seemed. Around the high beam and the low beam projectors? |
