How Lynch comports himself in front of the press has nothing to do with his abilities on the field. When he is in his pads he runs THROUGH the other team more often then not which is what a running back should do. He has more than proven himself to be an excellent player. Calling him a "freakshow" just shows your bias against the team in general.

As for Harvin; sometimes personalities can be more important than raw skill. He sat out most of last season being injured. At the beginning of this season he did not do much and proved himself to be a liability in the lockeroom. The coaching staff made the correct move in excising an unhealthy element from the team. The more foolish move would have been to keep him on the team because he cost so much and allow him to drag the rest of the guys down with his attitude.

The Hawks have proven that spirit has so much to do with how you perform on the field. These guys love eachother and the fans love them too. They feed off all of that and play amazing football because of it.
