Well my Navigation Screen just went out...electrical gurus I need your help 2011 X5M
So I was just driving and bam my Nav Screen just goes black. In addition I have no radio controls no volume/phone steering wheel controls. M button still works as well as heated steering wheel and everything else. The big bummer is that I just put m mode in efficiency mode earlier in the day so now I have no m power
 ...anybody got any ideas on fuse location I could check on my own. If it's something simple id like to try and fix it myself if it's some major I have a warranty however this is my daily and I'd really rather not have deal with it. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers |

Mine has done this once, random glitch. Protocol is to kill the car, lock it for about 5 minutes, come back and turn it back on. Should restart the system. It's definitely a WTF experience.

My 2010 has the screen randomly black out for 15-20 seconds once every few weeks, but it comes right back. Once it went black and stayed, but the next time I turned the vehicle off and on, it was back.
Very odd. I have wondered if swapping to the avinusa screen would be a good fix.... |

My Nav and Updating phone book stopped working today on my 2012 X5...fun times. Just spins and doesn't load up. Read somewhere it's a battery issue and time to get it replaced.
