I missed the race, read Rossi did a striking pace back to fourth.

Yes to a remarkable fight to the front.

Then 93 pulled some bs on 26 who could have passed 93 and 99 on the final laps which would make 46 a 10 timer.

He didn't interfere with the championship when it didn't suit Rossi and Rossi needed him to since he was nowhere near the pace all weekend.

Who cares? He's really fast. That's all he should be respected for since he's a regular human otherwise.

Marquez is an idiot and have lost all respect for him and his team. Before I respected him but wasn't a fan, now I neither respect him and could never be a fan.
If you watch the last few races even before the Sepang incident, you can see he is clearly blocking Vale. The race before he stayed back and blocked and at the last minute when he knew Lorenzo would take a second place he clearly went on to win but only after he could ensure Lorenzo came second and not Vale.

It was all a strategy to keep Rossi from being the champion just as Rossi called it.
Now the leg bump incident was a bad move by Rossi and don't think it was professional but in that race you can see the frustration come through as that little bastard Marquez was just keeping Rossi busy allowing Lorenzo to pull away. The result was a that unfortunate move, which in the end cost Rossi the championship.

Congrats to Lorenzo, hopefully he didn't conspire to make Rossi fail. Hopefully Rossi can take it next year, and hopefully Marquez.....nothing good to say about that kid.

I reckon Lorenzo was co-conspirator because he won all those races and is so quick.

Well said.

Only positive for Lorenzo in my book is that in order to win it, you must be in it.

This thrash will hurt Marquez sales of gear, helmets, etc. Young kid failed to realize he could make bucket loads of cash from now until eternity. Not so much now. At least in the foreseeable future.

I agree. Would have enjoyed 46 and 99 to go head to head.

FIM knew 93's tactics a few races ago. No one did anything until 46 kicked his ass into the tarmac.

Had Rossi been a little more professional to Maq last race, this very well could have been the case. I do agree though, this final was stale. First couple laps were cool to see Rossi come up so far and the last few laps cool to see Pedrosa come back but all and all, a typical Lorenzo-leads-&-wins race.

Props to Lorenzo for coming back this season though, he did win 7 of the races this year and held an incredible multi-race lap leading marathon - these facts can't be overlooked when discussing this year's champion.

Lorenzo put on an awesome performance this year. Not a fan, btw, but I respect his talent.

It was sad to Rossi crumble both on and off the track.

Marquez? Meh, he is supposedly a conspirator against Rossi, but there's no actual evidence of that, though no shortage of opinion. He went backward this year as compared to Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

I'm rooting for Pedrosa next year. He showed real grit and determination, and was the most mature, level headed of the four aliens.

Not really... with Lorenzo 2nd and Rossi 4th, Lorenzo would have been the Champion as well!

I am a huge fan of Marquez. Having said that, I lost some respect for the kid. After Australia and Sepang I didn't want to believe the things that Rossi was saying about Marc's pace. Phillip Island is notorious for eating up tires so I figured maybe he was conserving his and waiting for the Yamaha's to fall off. Sepang was, IMO, a great battle and Rossi let Marquez get in his head, but that's no excuse to put someone rubber up.

After watching Valencia, I could see that Marc had the pace to pass Lorenzo, but chose to stay behind him and even go so far as to protect him from Pedrosa. I don't buy the fact that Marc said he attempted a pass. He could have made more of an effort. Makes me wonder if/what Dorna knew. It's no secret that the whole organization is a Spanish Racket.

I hope that going forward, the remaining years that Rossi spends in the sport will include a "healthy" rivalry with Marquez. This one has clearly already turned into something more. At least Rossi and Marquez haven't come to physical blows yet, like what happened with Rossi and Biaggi in Catalunya.
