I absolutely love this truck and the only reason I'm considering selling it is so I can pick up its more evil brother, an X5M. I made the mistake of going for a ride in one and it has seduced me to the dark side. So if I can sell my precious and upgrade then I will. If this doesn't sell I will not be sad one bit.

- 1 owner CPO qualified truck when I bought it from BMW of Nashville. I declined the CPO coverage because I'm moving overseas where it wouldn't benefit me. However, It is still under factory warranty until Aug 17 so you can purchase extended warranty through a dealer.

This X does not have either Cold Weather Package or Premium Sound.

I don't believe the msport can be paired with a heating steering whee because of the sport steering wheel.. I do however have 3 stage heated from seats. The stereo is actually very good and I'm not sure if that vin decoder is accurate when it states "high end stereo" not being the premium stereo. I'll get a build sheet from bmw and post it. Thanks

Only 2013 M Sports with the Cold Weather Package got the heated steering wheel, not 2011's or 2012's. So yah my 2012 missed out I don't know why those years didn't offer it when the X5M got the heated steering wheel starting in 2010 if equipped with Cold Weather, the the M Sport and X5M steering wheels are pretty much the same aside from stitching color, paddle style, and some button configuration (no 'M' button on M Sport, obviously).

Agree with you on stereo, the base option in 2012 and 2013 (option S676A) sounds pretty good, but it's still not the Premium Sound Package (S677A) in terms of options, though the 2 sound pretty much the same to me. FWIW the base audio in my 2012 X5 sounds noticeably better than the Individual Audio sound package in my M3.

Didn't know that! My 07 has cold weather with heated wheel and I have just gotten so used to it that I really can't get anything without it.

My 2012 sport pack 35d w/ CWP has a heated sport steering wheel... or is this just M Sports you're referring to?

Yah we've taken over this guys thread a bit

But to answer the question above, yes just M Sports. All the other steering wheels had heat if the vehicle was equipped w/ CWP.

At least we're keeping this thread at the top!
