Did you get it CPO? Depending on the "in-service" date, yours may still be under the 4yrs/50K mi OE warranty ... If not ... get some kind of warranty, or you'll be selling it because of the drain on your wallet!

What issues have you had on yours that required a warranty fix?

No major issues so far.. Did have that "battery drain" fault once.. I just want to take it in to make sure it has the updated injectors, vent hoses, and have them do their timing chain diagnosis... Will notify them of the battery issue... It wasn't CPO and I will ask about an extended warranty when I go... I really like this beast.. Cinnamon interior is killer!!

The other two at the house... The M Coupe and the Roadster have been excellent cars.. I hope the X5 treats me the same way!!

Mine's a 2012. Only have 20K mi. So far relatively minor things: door gaskets (cracks/split), wood trim (cracks), steering wheel because of de-lamination. No engine issues .... yet. But due for the N63 engine campaign!

I ran my car's old service records and showed that it also had the door seal fixed and also a tailgate fix.

Congrats on the new purchase. I skipped the warranty when mine expired in November. So far, so good. It's a 3.5i, so I expect fewer problems based on what's been posted on the forum.

That is one great looking M Coupe, space grey is timeless. Congratulation on the new X5, their are some great tunes for that 50i. Enjoy.

Thanks guys... I do love my M Coupe.. Hasn't hit 20k miles yet... Garage queen... I am really impressed with the X5... Just want a bit more sound from exhaust... My rogue cans on the M sound awesome!! Maybe they will make a system for the 50i...

Congrats looks really good. I just got me a 2012 X5D, no major problems with it. Just took it in for a check up and it had a recall on a oxygen sensor. It had 25,000 miles on it and has full factory warranty and was a C.p.o.
