These wheels were purchased by me this last Sunday, May 14th. Contact between myself and Brian was fine and the wheels were shipped in a timely manner. We agreed on a sale price and then an additional amount was requested for further shipping costs. I obliged and anxiously awaited the wheels.
At the time of purchase, the ad stated "no curb rash on wheels and all in great shape." This is not the case at all... 2 wheels have curb rash and all 4 wheels exhibit bad pitting around the center cap area on the face of the wheel. I reached out to Brian this afternoon as soon as the wheels arrived to bring this to his attention and to come to an agreement and he failed to respond in a timely manner. I went back to check the ad and sure enough, "Last edited by MrGermanLover; Today at 1:21 PM." I just happened to test him these photos at 1:08 PM... The ad now states "No major curb rash on wheels and all in great shape with no bends. Beautiful set of wheels!"   I would strongly suggest you DO NOT do business with this guy. He is obviously trying to cover himself by changing the ad wording instead of stepping up and righting a wrong... |

The buyer was sent the exact wheels posted in the thread above. If you zoom into the picture you can see the areas the buyer is referring to. These were not a brand new set off the showroom floor. If the buyer had requested I would have been more than happy to send him more pictures of the wheels. There is no major curb rash on the wheels nor any bends/cracks. A minor scuff would be expected with wheels being 5 years old. Next time the buyer should request multiple pictures of wheels as to make sure he is on same page with seller as to what real curb rash looks like.

Those wheels have been on this forum since 2015 or so, started out at 3000 and have been bumping down
 : on price since. The post did say no rash, wheels in great shape. I paid attention since I have the same wheels and they do not have that rot around the bore, agreed that should have been disclosed. I guess lesson learned by all, request lots of pics especially the back and the serial #'s |

It's a shame really - this type of incomplete disclosure detracts from the buy sell experience on our forum. Note to self - despite
Having had success buying parts in the past - better to buy locally where they can be seen. Seller should settle with buyer on $ amount to fix rash etc. imho. |
