nope maint was not included but i did end up buying it. but again ive had plenty of bmw's post warranty and know the cost. i still believe these things are engineered to break down (everything except main engine) by design..

bmw's own 7 year 100k (total , not in addition) was pretty high over 6k

Thanks for all the useful information. I've called everyone and I was able to get a Carchex 5/75 Titanium policy for just under $5K. So warranty is sorted.

I accessed 'FCCU.org' and the rate was great. 8 years/100K for the X5M for $3123 and that includes the extended electronic package.

Only problem is, I'm in Virginia.

I checked membership options to join FCCU but I don't live in or reside Texas nor am I employed in any of those groups.

Check Easy Care-Total care option. much cheaper than BMW offers. i went with them when I had less than 30 days left on factory warranty. I used Asheville NC BMW dealer.
