X6M non-heated steering wheel to heated steering wheel
Just got off the phone with my local dealer and he said it would be $2300 to convert my existing 2012 X6M non-heated wheel to one with heat.
Said I would need a brand new wheel and a bunch of other stuff. This sound right? |

That's pretty expensive. I presume that covers parts, installation, tax, etc. I have the heated steering wheel on my X6 and really like it here in San Diego. Although the feature is nice, it's not worth $2300, IMO.

way too expensive! you should order the heated part online (getbmwparts.com) and get an indy shop (im sure there are trusted ones nearby Michigan).
I have yet to use the steering wheel heater BTW - totally overrrated feature and def. not worth 2 large |

Yeah, a lot of stuff I'd rather do to it with $2300, like a radar detector or a carbon fiber front lip.
