M Sport Fog Light LED

Hi Lads

Im looking at doing an LED retrofit into my M Sport fog lights. Im wondering whether anyone has ever opened a fog light from a pre-lci foglight and is it easily done? Also if someone has opened one what would the internal diameter be and the depth from front to rear of housing?

I'll have a try this weekend. New lights coming in for a swap so I get a ruler. The diameter of the opening seems pretty wide because of the connector the light is housed in.
