It's two issues, one your pads are nearing a change (Check thickness)

The other is a update to the pads being used.

Check when it was serviced last.

I was able to get 40K Miles (the life is estimated 30K miles) with my pads with 3mm left on my fronts, but my rears set off the indicators so I'm replacing my pads as I write this.

Try to use your maintenance warranty if you can. Besides that make a good decision when to change them.
