Suggested tire pressure doesn't seem right...any advice?
According to the sticker on the driver's door on my X5, the correct tire pressure for my 214 wheels (275's and 315's on 20 in wheels) is 2.0 bar or 200 kpa which translates to about 29 psi. In my opinion this just doesn't seem right, it just seems too low and I am afraid this will cause uneven tire wear as time goes by.
My car is a 2007 3.0D, what do you guys think, should I follow these guidelines? |

Nope that's fine for runflat's, make sure your setting them up when the tires are "cold". The psi will go up when u drive about 3-4 psi in the winter, 5-6 in the summer.

I am currently at 31 psi all around when cold. As you suggest, they do go up 3-4 psi after using the car. I think I'll just leave them as they are and hope for even tire wear.

It's nearly impossible to get even wear on the street, insides always wear out faster if your alignment is within spec.
