If you have a 3 or X series vehicle with the new CIC idrive, i will be having the tools necessary for 2 weeks to update your idrive. Email me at nepl29 at gmail.com for more info.

The complete list of features of the 6NR option:
1.BMW Apps:
- Facebook,
- Twitter,
- Web Radio,
- 3rd party BMW Certified Apps.

2.BMW Plugin - "...changes the iDrive screen to the same look and feel as the iPod function on an iPhone.It allows you to take advantage of all the iPod features (Genius, album art, compiling playlists, etc) that are not available via the basic USB connection. With future iPhone software updates, new features will also be available in the car. An additional benefit comes in the way of increased interface speed.", BMW

3.Video Playback - enables video playback from iPhone

If you have the HD based navigation. Also you might need the COMBOX. When was your cr built?

I am also in New Jersey, have a 2011 x5 built in january 2011. I have the Tech package, blue tooth, nav, ect.

Maybe we can do all the jersey guys in one shot. lol.. Pm me if its possible i am def interested.

Nelson is helping me to get together a group of at least 5 people for the 6NR ConnectedDrive activation.

The programming can take place in each of the following states (we need at least 5 people for each location):
- Florida - Orlando - contact Nelson to sign up
- NY/NJ - Kearny/NJ - contact me to sign up
- California - contact me to sign up
- any other place where we can get a least 5 people

Minimum requirements:
- CIC Navigation
- Combox
- 6FL

If you are not sure if you have the above options installed send your VIN to Nelson or me and we will confirm.

After enabling the 6NR you will have the ConnectedDrive menu with BMW Assist, BMW Apps and BMW Plugin.
For BMW Apps you can use the Apple white cable connected to the USB port in the armrest.
However for BMW Plugin and video streaming you will need the new base plate and snap-in adapter (which are not available yet) or you can get our special retrofit kit
to use ALL ConnectedDrive features through the USB port

It will take around 2h for each car to have the ConnectedDrive enabled.

Additional coding like DVD-in-motion, remote folding mirrors or remote trunk opening/closing is possible too.

The date will be set once we have at least 5 people confirmed and I will make sure it will fit everybody's schedule.
