Need Help Making a Decision

I currently own a 2007 328i coupe and have the opportunity to upgrade to an X6. I have 103kms and the X6 has 160kms...so that is one concern, plus I don't know much about the X6 as well as the transition from a coupe to a truck. Anybody make a similar change that has any input? Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks!

Have a x5 which is similar to x6 but far as your miles double check the cars history if it is up to date with maintenance thats very important see if dealer or owner could provide history and check for accident history also. Gl

the x6 actually belongs to my boss whom I have a very close relationship with. He is the only owner of the vehicle as he's had it since it was brand new. He does all of his maintenance at the dealership and is up to date.

I don't want to make the switch and be disappointed...

Go test drive one.

I went from my 2001 325Ci coupe to a 2010 X6 35i and was just fine. Yes, it's a bigger car, not as nimble or sporty as a 3-series E46, but a truck it is not. The X6 drives and handles closer to how a car drives than how a truck drives.

I also have a "truck" (MB GL550) and that thing is a barge. The X6 feels much more like a car than you'd ever imagine if you haven't driven one.

Also the interior ambiance, fit and finish, and design of the cabin is on a whole level above the 3-series and even my relatively "base" X6 35i felt like a high end car inside.

X6 is really a great car.

If I were you to quell any doubts I'd take the bosses car or even a new one at a dealer for a test drive and see if you like how it feels.

If you want to really feel the excitement after your switch, go for the 50 or M model. 35 is not going to do it. You will feel like you lost power when switch from 328 to 35i X6. I have 2008 328i and it can perform

I didn't feel that way but my 2001 325Ci was 195hp, I believe. The X6 35i has 300. It's not slow by any means.
