Yep. I'm really excited that the base came in at these prices. Not too much of a difference, price wise, from the X6 we were getting ready to order.

It came at the right time as we held off on the X6 order till we see what the price w/options turns out to be for the X6M.

Can't wait!!!

Me either! The equipment list hasn't been released yet but the M will come with a lot of equipment that is standard. It will be significantly cheaper than a comparably equipped Cayenne Turbo S.

as if the SUV part wasn't crappy enough, they've gone with run flat tires

Even though it comes with quad pipes and the M logo- this car car is not an and never will be a true ///M car.

And well equipped will be north of 110K

Much equip will be standard but 10k in options is very likely..........so fully loaded your at say 95k for X5M and 98k for X6M.......just a little more than a fully equipped M5...

As for a true "M"- that went bye bye after the E46 M3...

The pricing is in line with what I expected. $22k more than the base 8 cylinder X6. Close to $100k nicely equipment.

However, I find it interesting that this is the first vehicle to move away from what a traditional M has been.

i.e. Run flat tires, torque vectoring, automatic transmission, no manual or DCT tranny option, etc.

They will be over $100,000 fully loaded, by quite a bit.

Not exactly cheap.

I still don't get why they built these autos in this economy and the days of "saving the planet".

not much over but true. considering their performance and comparing them to others (not including the jeep SRT8 lol), they are definitely a bargain if you are in the market for these types of vehicles... dont you think?

For real, all M's after the e46 except for the z4m are ghey ass fuck. the e92 is w.e. but never like the e46 was in its time. the king of the crowd by FAR.

These cars were conceived atleast 2 years (mid 07) ago at the peak of the bubble.

Probably since most of the expensive work (ie design) was already done, might as well release it.
