Pretty much.
I should have mentioned that the clear coating of everything makes the job sooo much easier. I'm very careful not to use anything harsh like a wheel cleaner on these, so as to preserve the life of the clear coat. I have to clean them more often to prevent brake dust build up but frequent washes with high quality car wash keeps them looking new. I also used a high quality sealant on them, and will every year when I put them on in the Spring. Does a pretty good job overall. |

Looking great rennis - both X and boat!
I realize the pic was taken in a random parking lot but it still looked really familiar to me….finally I figured it out…this was taken about 2 miles from me. If I'd seen you I'd have waved you down! You must have been launching the boat there on the slough in Kenmore? |

Really nice build sir! Would you please elaborate on your exhaust set up? I would love to hear how it sounds.

There's really not much to it. cut the suitcase off behind the rear axle and welded in two Magnaflows and a H pipe. And welded on some black factory tips. As for the sound it's pretty good. It's sound amazing at idle and pretty good at most RPMs. When the engine is really laboring around the middle of the rev range the exhaust gets choppy sounding, which is my only complaint. It's pretty hard to get these things sounding great with the exhaust manifold configuration, in my opinion.

I just did a 400 mile roadtrip through the N. Cascades this weekend doing some very spirited driving with friends. Worked the brakes pretty hard and never had any fade or issues with slowing the beast down. |

Looks great - can you share a pic of the trailer hitch. I have the M sport and would like to add hitch - dealer says need a special trim kit - does Curt come with that? Not looking to tow, just have bike rack. Thanks in advance. |

No special trim kit required - maybe they were referring to the OEM hitch which requires cutting out a section of the rear bumper? The Curt and Execuhitch bolt right on, with the difference being the receiver is always visible w/ Curt, and hidden with Execuhitch.
