Considering purchasing this car...

Hey Guys, I am still searching for a White X5 50i M-Sport. I am having no luck for 3 months. Either the car is in bad shape or not available. I can't purchase new because I can't afford above 60k.

What do you think about purchasing a 2012 with Everything but premium sound and m sport? they are asking 59k and it has 7k miles. I think I might be able to squeeze a little more, but thats pretty low to begin with, isn't it??

I originally wanted a 2011 m sport, mainly the 2011 because adaptive drive was with the package. i am having no luck and not getting much help from dealers around. I don't want to settle but don't know what to do anymore. The m sport and being Alpine White were really my only conditions, but I have nothing yet.

If i bought this 2012 without m sport, i surely would want to retro fit the m sport package to the car. What do you think of this idea? Would it be smart or beneficial because maybe this one is a good deal and I can add(retrofit) m sport to the car?

Or do i keep looking and try to ignore my frustration??

I agree with Biff, just wait till prices drop and get what you want. You can always buy a temporary car for now that you can sell for the same value.

The temporary car is a tough purchase. I did it last year and ended up stuck. I am in a ford ranger now that is miserable, but serves its purpose.

I am having a tough time with this and don't want the 2011's i am looking for become older and older so i lose warranty. i am looking for a 2011 that is 1 year old. (at least punched in 2011). the main reason i want a 2011 m sport and not 2012, is 2012 does not have adaptive drive.

If i could get some help from a dealer on this search, i would be happier and more content in waiting, but i am not having much luck with any dealers.

I hear yeah, I'm looking to do the same but want black. Here in the south I really want vented seats too, there are basically none with the options I want. Good things are worth the wait.
