After having my left headlight assembly replaced I needed my headlights adjusted. I researched where the adjusters were located with no luck but was able to finally figure it out. In the attached photo, looking toward the drivers side fender, you can see the two white plastic headlight adjusters. A 6mm Allen key has been placed in adjuster labeled 1. This is the up/down adjustment - clockwise turns the beam higher. The Photo Label 2 is for left/right adjustment. It is deep under the fender and a long handle Phillips screw driver can reach it (but don't mess with it). Since these headlights have up/down and left/right electric adjusters, I highly recommend you DO NOT MESS with the left/right adjustment, and only adjust the up/down in no more than 1/2 turns with the 6mm Allen wrench. Otherwise you will cause the self-adjusters to go haywire and will cause dashboard warnings to trigger!

They go to default on start-up. But if you've dicked with the headlight, you may have thrown the original setting off. Hence the adjustment
