Drive event incentive

Hey Guys,

I saw somewhere (I think it was on this forum) that is you sign up for one of the BMW drive events you get a $1000 credit that can be applied to the purchase price of your new vehicle, or applied to the cap reduction if you are leasing.

Does anyone know about this program or where I can sign up?

As an aside, I contacted both BMW corporate and Financial Services and asked, after having purchased 14 BMW's over the last 25 years, was there any special deal or incentive they could offer beyond the token loyalty rate they offer a customer buying his second BMW. They basically Laughed at me.

Don't think for one minute BMW appreciates your loyalty to the brand.

Be sure to join the BMWCCA. You get up to a $1000 rebate towards a new BMW. You do have to be a member for 1 year. That plus the Roundel magazine make it worth the $50/yr renewal.

You read it right. You can go to http://www.bmwusa.com/driveforteamusa and register there. Once you do your test drive, you get your $1000 certificate in the email up to a week later. Keep in mind that this $1000 goes towards the cap cost of your vehicle ans gets applied before taxes, finance charges, etc. On paper it looks just like BMW is putting $1000 cash down for you.
