I went for a dip...

Glossifier didn't really work. 7 coats and it looks more like a satin than a gloss.

How do you like it? Can you post more detailed pix? I'm also planning to do this on mine. Thanks.

Couldn't get my 2010 wheels cleaned enough, no matter how hard I tried, to ensure no imperfections. Clean wheels are key. Also helps to take them off to do this and lay flat (I did it with the wheels on the car). Got some bubbles around the hub (see pic) below. Other than the bubbles and the gloss not being glossy, I'm happy enough. Plan to get them painted professionally anyway, and this was a cheap way to see if I liked the black look. I do, so I'm going to pay someone to make it permanent.

Bubbles here:

Looks good... I do this to all my cars wheels during winter time, it helps to protect them from salt when it snows... for $7 a can you cant go wrong plus it comes off real easy

Glossifier is tough, have to put on thicker then you would think. But then you risk runs and drips. Looks good though, did mine as well!
