A few *DAYS* to fix BMW Assist?
I picked up a 2014 X6M last month and it's been great except that the BMW Assist apparently isn't connecting. I hit the SOS button and I get a recording saying something to the effect that this car isn't registered for BMW Assist services, and to take it to the nearest service center.
So I did that, and the very nice service advisor just told me it will take a few days to fix. They'll give me a loaner, but what the heck are they going to be doing with it for a few *DAYS*? I searched online and saw this isn't an uncommon problem, but I didn't see anyone else having their car in the shop for that long, and I haven't found any likely answers about what the actual cause might be. Has anyone had this issue, and can you share any info about it? Thanks in advance. |
