New Possible BMW Owner...???
Hey all, new member here.
So I need a new car ASAP (Long Story) Always wanted an x5 and the E70's have always been my favorite design. After searching, I found a 2013 x5 xDrive35i Sport Activity that I really like. I have never really purchased a used car. It has 91,150 miles on it. It has a clean Carfax (2 Owners, no damage, etc...) I am looking into Extended Warranties for it, but the more I research, the more reviews of scams and companies refusing to pay out claims. I'm supposed to pick the car up tomorrow. Anything I should be looking for, is this a bad idea as in, is this car going to fall apart when it hits 100,000 miles or so? Is an extended Warranty a good idea? If so who are actual reputably companies? I have looked and talked to, Cocncord, EasyCare, fidelity, Endurance, and a few others... Thanks in advance! -Gromet |

Before making the purchase go on the Interstate and go on a at least 50 mile one way trip and back at speeds over 70mph.
That will show up any faulty engine lights. Be prepared for extra expenses for repairs if you buy it. |

Picked up the 2013 on Friday night.
LOVING it so far. Took her for a long drive over the weekend, 100 miles plus highway. no Lights or any issues seen, heard or smelled. Hoping for the best but so far everything seems tip top. -Gromet https://photos.app.goo.gl/sDCxhRezqdwr5N4eA https://photos.app.goo.gl/qhvTpttVRgZZgPgL6 Last edited by Gromet; 02-25-2019 at 03:58 PM.. |
