I debadged my 4Runner because all of the chrome was deteriorating. I found out I liked the clean aesthetic, and want the X5 to look that way.

I'm not embarassed that I have the 35i engine, but I don't feel a need to celebrate it, either. I think the "x-drive" badging is unnecessary and I don't feel the need to promote BMW's branding through a 4" plaque on my door. So off it goes, the next time I wash it.
