front seat gets squeaky after heat

I noticed that when I get in my X6 after an extended time in the sun, and it starts adjusting the lumbar support on the right side, it starts to make rather loud squeaking noise, which eventually wanes as it cools off. I asked the dealership's technician and he said that it's plastic flap rubbing against leather and suggested to put some baby powder in between to mitigate the problem. I felt like putting baby powder on his head, really Anyone else had similar issue or can suggest something else?

I agree with you , take a can of baby power and hit your dealer in the head. I have 12-way black nevada perforated and have taken many trips to Nevada/Arizona and haven't even thought about the seats (other than like the cool air). it doesn't adjust the lumbar support on the right side by itself, if it did I would hear from my wife. I don't think it would be that different with Nappa leather.

Not sure what part of NorCal you live in but when I have a problem I just keep taking it back until the dealer fixes it.

You might remind them of California Lemon law ...
"Under the California lemon law, if a manufacturer cannot repair a vehicle's problems after a reasonable number of repair attempts, it must replace the vehicle or refund the price paid for the vehicle - whichever one the consumer chooses. "

I know on a recent problem I had dealer was nervous after the second time.

Gee!! Wished we had that kind of law in our neck of the woods.
There was one Volvo that I would have been glad to return
