Remote Starter and warranty?

Will remote starters void the waranty too?

My sales guys says that he has lots of customers with them but.....remove them before going in the dealer.

Also I had issues with a check brakes light on an other car before and had to have the starter removed to see if it was the cause of the problem. It was not.
The dealer had agreed to pay for the removal if it wasn't the cause and did but it was still a waste of time to go have it uninstalled and re-installed.

Any insight would be great

I don't know for sure but if "people are removing them before going into the dealer" sound like they will. otherwise why bother ?

Well that never dawned on me. Now why is BMW not offering them, they have snow in Germany too. Guess they are more thick skinned.
