Acura takes aim at the X6

I am sure it will just have the same engine as the MDX and knowing Acura will probably be front wheel drive. Looks kind of nice but hard to tell until you can see full pics.

I think it will most likely sport their SH-AWD (Super Handling-All Wheel Drive) system that is based on a clutch system to divert power between the rear wheels. Similar but by FAR not the same as BMW's X6 DPC system.

What I am really wondering about is how the press is going to receive this new car from Acura. If you look back at the unveiling of the X6, it was bashed by almost (if not every) magazine and reporter that looked at it, reported on it, talked about it.... Interesting though was that a lot of them found that the car handled a lot better than they had expected. Well, we all know this is history now, although there are still enough people and magazines out there that don't like the X6, just because....

It be interesting to see what those exact same reporters (that had nothing good to say about the looks of the X6) have to say about this new car from Acura... I guess we will find out soon

it will be still an acura !!! even if its looks nice i wont sell my x6 for an acura lool !!

Lines look cool, but cannot see more than total blackness.. . with some hints. Maybe my monitor is too dark?
