Stiff Steering Wheel
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2008 X5 4.8 sport (staggered wheels) and I find the steering wheel to be MUCH stiffer that my 2007 550 (staggered wheels). Is this normal or is there a couple maintenance options I can do? Thanks in advance |

Because of the large tires and heavy weight o the X5, the steering at parking lot speeds is much heavier than the 550i. If the X5 has the active steering option, the opposite is true with the X5 having lighter steering, but probably comparable to a 5/6 with active steering.
