I have had some interest but no one has come to look at it yet. I think most potential buyers are looking for a "loaded" example. The ironic thing is in a few years the no sunroof, non iDrive cars will be sought out for their light weight and simplicity.

I think you're spot on. With that said, I'm glad this is far away so I'm not tempted. Stay patient, it's a nice rig.

I've got the same car loaded but e92 w/ DCT. Trust me it's not just you. Guys either want it dirt cheap or they don't want it at all. Offers lower than trade in offers.

Sorry to thread jack OP. I think e9x sellers are missing the point of new gen M3 has arrived and thus prices of e9x M3 are going down the hill. Even a lot of dealers are giving a low ball trade in values on these cars.

Yeah well being someone who had a 15 m3 ordered and a trade in offer from 3 BMW dealers recently I can tell you BMW dealers will still give 40k+ on a well optioned 11. CPO 11s still sell near 50k at BMW dealers. Maybe you get that low value if you try to trade into a Kia dealer or Hendricks lol. Furthermore I have Manheim access and I can tell you there are only 2 11s at 39k WHOLESALE price on all of Manheim. All the rest are well into the 40s.
