Interior heater/climate fans

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help please.

So there I was driving home with the climate on and the Ratpack booming out of the stereo when the blower fans just packed up. The display says they are still working at half speed and no matter what switch you press, no luck. Checked fuses etc, anyone got any ideas. Now the damp weather is arriving I can't keep the interior from misting up!

Thanks in advance for any clues.

Look into the "final drive unit" as bmw calls it, otherwise known as the blower motor resistor unit.

Just had to have my blower unit replaced because of no air coming from the front vents. Service said that's all they replaced. Read my current post... Good luck
