Question about accessing behind the center console

Ever since Ive bought X6 I had some kind of rattling noise coming out from behind of the center mid console where the volume control knob is. I have addressed this to my dealership and they said they have solved the problem by taping many of the wires behind the center console behind the volume knob with some kind of sound insulating tape. After few months this has came back and I am fed up with it. I would like to personally access this section and do the job myself. Now, I know in order to get to that area, I need to physically take the middle vents out and do something after in order to access the area behind the volume control knob, but I have no clue. Can anyone help out?

1 remove upper middle vents. Use a opened govebox to leverage from right hand side.

2 unscrew both screws above climate system

3 use a trim removal tool and insert on the right hand edge where the center switches are ... Dsc, pdc buttons, etc.

Don't use the left hand edge as there is a ribbon cable on that edge.

4 once that trim is removed and cables unplugged you will see the CIC or CCC. This can be pulled out by unscrewing 4 screws.

That's it. Takes about 5 minutes.
