BMW X6 CIC Navigation & Combox Retrofit

Guys,

We got a customer who drove all the way from Indiana to get new 2011.75 Navigation and Combox retrofitted in his 2009 X6.

It was a lot of work but it all worked out well as usual

Options that are available after the CIC/Combox/6NR retrofit:

Bluetooth Audio
BMW Apps
BMW Plugin
Pandora Radio
Voice Control
2011 Maps

and all other options that were on the car

Here is the when it arrived to Alekshop

CCC - Old Navigation unit that came with the car

Removing all old parts and getting ready to replace with CIC parts

Replacing old controller with the new one

New bracket installed to fit new controller

New controller installed

Getting ready to install Combox

New CIC and Combox finally installed

Rear Camera still works

Project is completed and customer is on his way back to Indiana

Nice job !! I was under the impression that it was more cost effective to trade the car in after parts, labor and re-programming were considered. I have to ask how much ? If you prefer PM me.

I was under the same impression. What do you think...? I would really like to do those upgrades but I would like to hear more reviews about getting the retrofit vs waiting for the facelift in a couple of years... all depends on cost effectiveness
