How so i Rear differential cover removal?

I wanted to remove the cover while still on car so I can look inside to see what’s going on. My awd car had 2 different size tires front and back. The rear passenger axle keeps popping out the diff it has been replaced 3 times(picture attached. I want to see if something is wrong inside the differential by removing cover and spinning tires to see how it’s moving in there.. so how do I remove it? I can’t find anything clear online
