Tobacco interior?
Anyone care to post some pics of their tobacco leather? Mixed lighting and flash/non-flash pics would be best to see the leather in different lighting. Those who have this interior, do you find it to be a bit monochromatic?

Here is a link to a X5 for sale on ebay with plenty of Tobacco interior photos. I personally don't like all of the tobacco, but prefer the Cinnamon brown with the black.

I have the cinnamon. It's not that red. It's pretty brown. I'd definitely recommend cinnamon over tobacco. I saw it in person. Its not good looking.
Oyster is nice if you can keep it clean. |

when I was looking for my X5, we looked at a black one with the tobacco interior. I didn't mind the leather so much, but the carpet looked horrendous in the sunlight. would be much better if it was black.
is the cinnamon similar to the old terra? I had terra in my 335 and LOVED it. by far my favorite interior color. |

Yeah we saw oyster in person when we test drove an X3 and loved it. But we had always said it would be a to keep clean...especially with a 3 year old. I have heard folks saying even jeans will tint the oyster blue over time. Cinnamon, if more brown would be great as far as keeping clean. Especially since it has the black floor boards and cargo, etc. That makes a huge difference. I think if we go with the oyster we are going to get a custom 2nd row seat cover that will be better for the wear and tear of our son in the back. And then I can just keep the front seats well cleaned, treated and conditioned. The hardest part is that we are overseas, and have very limited options for seeing things in person. Most europeans go with black interior. Not a big market for browns and such.

Cinnamon
Got my 2012 X5 50i three weeks ago - black sapphire on cinnamon. Not one person has gotten into the truck without commenting about the cinnamon interior. The guys at the dealership were even drooling over it! Definitely go with the cinnamon.
