Fuel gauge stuck after refueling

Weirdest thing happened today. Fuel gauge remained stuck on 1/4 tank after filling up the tank.

Drove a few miles and it was only after I turned off/on the truck that the fuel gauge started working again.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

One time I topped it off and after starting it said I only had 3/4 of a tank. I started driving and a minute later I saw it move to full. Hasn't happened ever since. prob just a fluke

There is a recall on that I had the same thing

I just had this problem X2 with mine 2013 X5 35i.

I was driving last week and it was on 1/4 gas level. Then a few minutes later it went into Reserves. I stopped at the gas station immediately to fuel up and after fill up it stayed at Reserve level. I drove it for a few miles, stopped the X5 and restarted and it showed full level. This has happened twice so far and only happens when I get to the 1/4 level. Reported the problem with my SA and was advised to bring in the car once the X5 is at 1/4 gas level to reproduce the issue.
