Some coins fell inside center console
Last week the "retractable trim cover" of the cup holders broke off.
I didnt notice that it left a small gap that small items could fall into. and a while ago while I was driving, some coins accidentally fell into the gap. I dont know how deep it is but the coins totally fell inside the center console what is under the cup holders/ center console? should I be worried about possible damage? cause Ive read in the owners manual that the "manual Parking release" is under the cup holders. also concerned that it might interfere with shifting, cause its very near the gear shifter. Shouldn't be major issues - just potential for rattles and such. Wires are wrapped and insulated; shifter is electronic, not mechanical.

Just annoying rattles. All wiring and connectors are wrapped and protected as stated above.
I had three pennies rolling back and forth and got annoying so I tore the pieces apart and fished them out. My coins were actually in a small vertical groove that reached towards the back and front. |

Same thing happened to me. Coins are trapped in there and roll back and forth while I drive making such an irritating noise. I'm going to take it apart and get them out of there this weekend hopefully.
