X6 50i owners with DINAN tune upgrade

For those of you who have pulled the trigger on the DINAN upgrade do you have any numbers on the 0-60 times and/or 1/4 times? TIA

I'm scheduled to have this installed wednesday. I've been having second thoughts though and almost every part of me wants to cancel, but some little bit still makes me want to do it. I'm very torn....is it worth it? Car is leased for 3 years...still 3 years left as I jut picked it up a few weeks ago. Yes? no? What do you think I should do?

You already know my thoughts Tony. I haven't taken it to the track but it has to be in the 12's.

I have the dinan tune on my 2011 50i and love it. pulls much harder than stock. very very noticable. you should put shifter in sport mode and be amazed. I am planning on doing the dinan high perf free flow exhaust next week. really looking forward to that.

Understood....but is it still worth it knowing that I have to give car back in 3 years??

Also, have you guys ever had the software wiped, during service or whenever, and had to reload??

I am assuming you have $$ otherwise you would not be leasing a high end X6. If you can afford it, and it makes you happy... why not. if you have to finance something like the tune, imo forget it.

I have the cash...and have no problem spending it :::when it makes sense::: but I don't (really) like to throw it away. I am leaning towards doing it, just need a little push

tonypap - I'm going through the same dilemma

A friend of mine who just bought a 2012 750i (same engine, different transmission) just upgraded and is blown away by the change ("I wish I was keeping this car rather than just leasing it now!") and claims it feels faster than his 2009 M5.

Let us know what you decide? My 2012 is due to be delivered next month... ;p

I already have a tune on my X6 50i and have ran the 1/4 in 12.8 with it but I was curious if the DINAN tune was any faster, which is why I'm asking this question.
