Problems after installing Lux H8 V4

I got the Lux H8 v4 angel eyes several days ago and installed them on 2011 X5. Here are a few things I experienced.

1. it flickered when I locked the car which was normal since it didnt have dim function.

2. After I unlock and lock the car 2 times with the remove key, the welcome light will not come up any more. weird?

3. onetime, I unlock and lock several times regardless the welcome light, the remote key stoped working and could not unlock the car. I have to use the key to open the door and start engine. After a minute of running the engine, the key is functional again. weird?? will try again.

any comments?

thank you all.

Your best option is to remove them, ask for a refund, then install some aftermarket halogen bulbs and enjoy having no errors...

But in all honesty: contact Lux directly. Sounds like you installed them correctly, but this is just an issue with your set of LEDs.

I also have the flickering issue but I believe that's normal for the LUX. Other than that, no issues...love them.

I installed the LUX H8 V4 and I haven't noticed any flickering yet, but they don't light up my outer rings very well. The only flickering I have is my WeissLicht LED fog lights with the error cancelers installed

The flickering is only when I turn off the car.

That's perfectly normal, mine flicker too when locking or if I unlock and they turn off on timeout.

I think you can code this....
The light is PWM-driven which works with halogens, but apparently not with the LUX.

I have the LCI and the coronas turn on "hard". In case anyone with halogen coronas can elaborate: do the coronas brighten up and dim when you lock unlock?

If so, you can code this with BMWHat in an easy and affordable way via your iPhone/Android.
